"The family had refused to speak to law enforcement officials about Petito’s whereabouts, leading some to speculate they were buying time to help Brian flee"
This date seems hinky. Pretty sure the cops picked up the van on the 11th at night. Is this correct?
Anyhow, I'm starting to wonder if maybe BL's father killed him and dumped him in the swamp. Or maybe BL kept a body part (psycho souvenir) after killing Gabby and dumped it in the swamp. The possibilities are endless without more info.
Honestly. I could care less. This should be a local story.
Seems like the parents made up the story of him going for a hike & helped him get out of town
Van was parked in the driveway and the police impounded it on September 14th.
Seized on the 11th. Impounded on the 14th. Doesn’t matter if anyone was home or not because it was parked in the drive.
This guy probably is out of the country now...sitting in Aruba.
All of this would lead me to ask just how many times have the parents pulled this guy out of trouble.
Petito’s family officially reported her missing on Sept. 11 and police seized the van from Laundrie’s home on a separate warrant three days later (Sept. 14.)
Thanks for finding that info.

This is standard ops for the media when they want to clog the news cycle. Find a pretty girl mystery murder or even make one up. Then ignore the big story (audit).
Scenic national parks in Utah are about the last place I would expect anybody to have a relationship breakdown, so things were probably not all that great before they got there.
Or, he might be alligator food by now. Who knows?

Looks like the parents may be accessories after the fact. Hope they are both arrested and charged asap. If you become aware of a murder you are obligated to help solve the crime r
“If you become aware of a murder you are obligated to help solve the crime”
Not necessarily. Aiding and abetting is another story.

There’s a jack leg just in front of the woman’s leg. Tne one on the near side is obscured by the man. Made me look though!
Has anyone checked his lawyer’s beach front home in Gulf Shores AL?
Seems like a good place to hole up, for a non-suspect.
Lawyer calls up Grubhub for his food, unseen, never has to leave
