I have to laugh when I see these dramatic and blanket statements about law enforcement and the terrible things “they”, monolithically, will do. Most cops are fine, some are bad, some are really good. Their friends and families will continue to love and support them. Decent people will continue to have little to fear from their local PD. Occasionally bad cops will do bad things, and sadly sometimes get away with it. I’ve gone my entire life without having a negative interaction with any law enforcement.

Like Philip Brailsford murdering Daniel Shaver, getting away with it, then getting rehired by the department so he could collect his pension.
