Fake News goes all the way back to the late 1800’s.
“Do your own research” is a wise idea in most things.

"Science is a consensus building process," DiResta said. No, it isn't. Especially when that consensus-building comes with a political hammer behind it.

Lol. It amazes me how bold they are in pushing this agenda. They late literally telling people not to think for themselves.

These media people enable mass murderers and deserve the traditional penalty for mass murderers.

At the end of the article:
Correction: An earlier version of this story misattributed the quote about researching authoritative sources. That statement was made by Yael Eisenstat. The statement regarding consensus building in science was made by Renee DiResta.
Looks like someone did their own research

Because the average person is simply incapable of finding original source material, reading it, and coming to a conclusion based on what is presented? What a load of hokum. Just wait there will be a huge cry to restrict access to data from such sites as NIH’s National Library of Medicine lest people dare find out things such as why Ivermectin is being used as an antiviral

Hey, just because we live in the Information Age when all the published scientific papers on COVID have been made freely available to anyone with a few clicks, that doesn’t mean you can rely on anything other than spoonfed DNC-CNN propaganda, plebes!
To: MNDude
Four little words — "do your own research" — are hurting the US pandemic response, CNN's chief media correspondent Brian Stelter said on "Reliable Sources" Sunday. And it is having real consequences as personalities from Nicki Minaj to Sean Hannity continue to promote the idea. Because they want to tell you what your opinion is. Btw, didn't the female ditz on MSNBC some time ago say it was their job to tell us what to think?

I don’t know about you, but I get all my medical advice from Dr. Brian Stelter, MD.

So CNN is saying, “Don’t worry about doing research. Just trust us. You know we would never lie to you.”
