Beto barely lost to Cruz a few years ago. Texaa is rapidly moving towards Democrats.
I don’t trust the numbers from the urban counties, especially in 2020. Hopefully the reforms passed by the Legislature will limit cheating in those areas. If that is the case, Abbott should win by 6 or more points. The South Texas Hispanic vote is moving to the right, offsetting the suburban soccer moms.
For a Democrat to win in Texas, it would have to be someone like Roy Cooper (Governor of North Carolina). Someone who "appears" to be a Conservative Democrat (even though he's not). Beto is a flaming liberal.
