There are some people still so irrationally afraid of this flu that they really believe they need the mask to "protect" themselves even if they acknowledge it's more of a psychological remedy (a talisman) than a physical remedy.

What keeps this going is the typical libtard social posturing based on the delusional -- the truly irrational to the point of insane mantra that we all must wear a mask to "protect other people" ... that we must be "socially responsible"; a truly marxist tenet in and of itself. Our American society has devolved to the point that each of us is expected to bear responsibility for everyone else's health.

Well, apart from staying home if I'm sick (i.e., hacking and sneezing all over the place), I am no more responsible for a stranger's physical health than I am responsible for a stranger's mental health or for their financial health for that matter.

I have absolutely had enough of strangers walking up to me and demanding that I obey them so they can feel "safe". Eff 'em!
