Well, which is it? One source pro, one

This is the one and only reason I will

Israel’s 7 day average cases curve shows a slight blip upwards. It’s not really very significant unless it becomes sustained for a couple weeks or so. Single day numbers should almost always be viewed with suspicion, as they may be subject to manipulation. Israel’s single day numbers show huge spikes and dip.

Even so, what’s more important is that Israel’s current serious case rate is commendably low — only 0.8%. Compare that with a FATALITY rate of 2% for all closed cases in the US. Current fatalities in the US have fallen to a bit under 1% — I don’t have data from the same source - Worldometers - on present US serious case numbers. (Strictly speaking both the Israeli 0.8% and the US 2% and 1% numbers are surely high due to untested infections, but, their relative levels are still useful to compare.)
