McCaul is saying 10,000 interpreters worked with the special forces? Did each operator have his own personal “interpreter?” This whole thing makes no sense at all.

I agree it makes no sense. And the interpreters took on a paying job helping America help Afghanistan. I keeping hearing how various Afghans were helping America. But the only thing America was doing there was helping Afghanistan. The interpreters were paid cash and not one of them was promised a new life in America. Harsh? Yes. But worse would be taking in 10,000 more Afghans and then their families too, and all the security risks that would come with that. No way.
