Some people are so uninformed that they think they will not be hurt by high taxes on corporations or the supposedly rich. Those people are so willing to take other people’s money that they don’t see how they, themselves, can be affected. That is the essence of liberalism: Increase the power of government by taking advantage of public ignorance and selfishness.
