I hate defending Manchin, but he doesn’t work for Sanders or the (p)Resident. He works for his constituents. I hope he’s strong enough to remember that.
Having been disappointed in Manchin many times, I, with great sorrow, think in the end he will give in.
It would be nice if he stayed strong, but it’s hard to beat those odds.
If he stands firm, it will be the first time, I think.
Manchin will cave. He’ll sell himself taking bribes, or succumb to threats. Manchin always caves.
