Propaganda, lies, and obfuscation. Why are hospitals “full”? Because they must have one nurse for a certain number of beds. They cannot hire enough nurses, so they must CLOSE beds, reducing the overall number of beds available and making hospitals appear “full”. Also, people are getting elective surgeries that they put off for a year because of the fake “pandemic”.

Not true. No beds are closed at the hospital here. ICU is full with cases spread out into conference rooms (see my last comment). The nurses per ICU bed rules have been waived because of critical conditions. And finally, to close out your untruths, all elective surgeries have been postponed — not a factor.

On the respiratory beds we were told one nurse per two patients. It has to be a nurse issue not a bed issue. They seem to have enough respirators (remember flatten the curve).

One might add this....if you are running a hospital with only 60-percent of nurse positions filled...you probably aren’t making any level of income to sustain your business model. If this trend holds...go expect forty-odd hospitals in the state to declare a business emergency by Thanksgiving.
