“This is going to cripple smaller businesses.

So many people will quit or go into early retirement.”

Normally a Small business is under 50 employees. I see them getting a nice large pool of people to hire from.

2 things will happen.
Companies close to 100 employers will stop hiring.
Companies over 100 will start lay-offs.

For Federal law purposes, small business is generally considered under 500 employees. Certain contracts may fall under a different standard but the SBA sets the criteria.

I think you are right. This will be a boost for small businesses picking up those that leave large corporations.
