My husband works at high end 5 Star Resort with more than a 100 employees. He has been there for 30 years. He will quit before he’s forced to take the vaccine. Biden is stepping way over his rights!
I don’t see where the president has the power to unilaterally declare requirements on employers. If they comply it’s on them.
Walmart does not mandate that their employees be vaccinated. The managers and team-leads on the floor are forbidden to even out if curiosity ask another employee if they are vaccinated. It’s against company policy.
Amazing that people don’t get that yet. There is no Constitution for this country any longer.
I think you are right. This will be a boost for small businesses picking up those that leave large corporations.
The Commerce Clause, I’m sure. That’s the cover all used to justify any and all government regulations.
This is obviously unconstitutional. Doesn’t make a great deal of practical sense, either. Why is 100 the magic number? 100 employees spread out over a large office wouldn’t be as vulnerable as 20 employees in a crowded warehouse, for example. 80 million Americans affected? So the other 250 million don’t need to be vaccinated to supposedly control the pandemic?
Makes zero sense. Just arbitrary gibberish so he can give a speech to make it look like he’s “doing something.”
This current wave is going to peak within a month, and he’ll proclaim it was his policies that did it and claim victory.
Similar thing that happened with Obamacare’s mandates / regulations.
I work in a hospital where plenty of us have chosen not to get vaccinated. If it gets real, I will not quit. They will have to fire me. There will be paperwork they must sign, there will be lawyers involved.
Anyone who resigns themselves to this must take a breath, think carefully and then decide whether to battle these fascists or just walk away, or get the shot. I fault no one for their persomal choice, but I simply can’t surrender in this fight. It scares me where they’re trying to take this, it also scares me plenty to fight back.

Trump honored the Constitution and the limits on Federal powers. This administration just sh!ts all over those limits. They are the real tyrants.
