9:1 odds are still pretty good. Just means a booster will be needed. Without a vaccine and booster, you’re taking a small, but significant risk of serious illness and death. Ask the people in the ER (or their families, if they’re in the morgue) if the vaccine might have been a smart move. In two weeks the number may go down a percent.. Even in Israel unvaccinated make up 20% of the population and 50% of the cases. Nothing suggests being vaccinated will EVER be worse than being unvaccinated.
