President Joe Biden stumbled through parts of his Tuesday briefing on Hurricane Ida, leaving the definition of a tornado unclear.
Biden visited New York and New Jersey to observe the damage caused in recent days by Hurricane Ida. He discussed the impact of the storm, as well as other devastating weather incidents around the nation and how they relate to climate change.
Biden began to describe damage from tornadoes to communities in the middle of the country.
"The members of Congress know, from their colleagues in Congress that, uh, you know, the, looks like a tornado, they don't call them that anymore, that hit the crops and wetlands in the middle of the country, in Iowa and Nevada. It's just across the board."
"One of the things that today I'm going to ask you about ... is about how we're going to build back, and we're going to build back realizing what the status of the climate is now, what the trajectory of it is going to be, and we can no longer, we all know, we can't just build back to what it was before."

Did they report on the People in New Jersey who were screaming at Biden calling him everything in the book while he was “surveying” the damage?
Only saw that video on Fox.
Build back better = Destroy the Republic in less than a year.
It’s quite interesting that Congress is perfectly ok with our country being run by a sexually demented and cognitively crippled President....who does nothing about this. And further a populace that’s for the most part just joking about it.
Will we ever see Hurricane Damontrae, or Hurricane Shaniqua?
"I'll whip your ass behind the gym today right after school is out!! You better be there!"
.
You’re right.
And one stage has them telling stories of fake memories. A Troublesome marker, per Doctors.
.
That looks like a true “I can’t breathe” moment. Or Joement?
Geeze, what a bunch of gobblygook. Hey doctor Jill, do something about your lost husband.
We had one in ATL 7-1/2 years ago IIRC. Dropped quite a few trees, did a fair amount of damage, lots of power outages. It was the event that caused me to buy a good chainsaw as a piece of emergency equipment.
I’ve been saying the same thing for years. I am appropriately equipped.
The Simpsons were just a few years ahead of the times. But there’s an old comedy song that anticipated “Sensitivit-ese” by decades.

Is the word tornado racist?
I’ll add it to the list.
Yes, but Joe isn't a helpless victim either. He's a willing participant. The dementia just makes it more interesting.
“The media was completely covering for him”
Correction:.....and is STILL covering for him.
They say “Biden” instead.
We’ll see how fast the weather channel suck ups invent a new name for tornados. My guess is the the new term will involve “vortex”.
It is not a pretty end usually, unless you happen to know exactly what will help ease the pain and struggles that each patient/family member experiences. I just went through this with my Father - he died on Labor day. roughly 26 hours before he passed we were finally able to get the right dosage of his meds and get oxygen for him, which gave him a peaceful passing. 6 days prior to that he stopped eating and drinking.
Dad had severe sleep apnea and was non-compliant with CPAP, so his respiration even while awake was about 15 seconds of snoring and 45 seconds of not breathing for the previous 4-5 days. He would become alert while not breathing and the expression on his face was that of pure terror (he was suffocating). It was truly heartbreaking.
Okay, Joe. We’ll just call that thing in your head a “twister”.
