I have not seen any data that proves your 10:1 assertion.
First, the epicurve does not show raw numbers and is invalid for any analysis because the red includes “unknown” vaccination status. For all we know the “red group” could be half vaccinated, there’s no way to know.
The curve is also incomplete as it is designed to predict trends and can be off as much as two weeks, the epicurve you referred to shows September 3 total cases as under 6,000. However the actual PCR positive cases that day were 9113. Who are the other 3113? We don’t know anything about them. We also don’t know how many of the “unknowns” were vaxxed.
We could go around in circles all day, because you will try and fit the numbers somehow to what the TPTB are telling you, but they don’t.
If I were you, I’d take a hard look at what is going on in Israel and what real world doctors and nurses you personally know are saying about how many vaccinated people are in the hospital. Hint - it is not what you are hearing in the news. I know what is going on here because I have close friends in healthcare. The percentages bear out what I am being told personally.
The percentage where the vaccination status was unknown was less than 3% in all studies I’ve looked at.
Yes, you can go around and try to nitpick the data.. but the difference between blue and red is night and day, and yet you’re in the red group hoping your cocktail of vitamins, OTC meds and possibly illicit prescription drugs will keep you safe. Not the best strategy for this pandemic. Did you read the article this post was about? Preacher guy unbelievably thought the vaccine was a bad idea.. and nearly died because of the same bad logical thinking.
What about Israel? Unvaccinated Israelis represent only about 20 percent of the population eligible for a vaccine, but they now constitute half of all serious COVID-19 cases in the country.
Israel had a high early vaccination rate. The vaccines (unfortunately) wear off. A booster should restore immunity back to the higher (90%) levels. If the vaccines were perfect, I’d like that too. But they’re better than your horse paste.
If you show me one source of county wide data that shows a plurality of vaccinated are in the hospital, I’ll make a donation to your favorite charity. But I’d be able to point to dozens of states and counties where the unvaccinated are (obviously) the ones taking up the hospital beds. While the MSM is biased, this is really hard to fake— the numbers are tracked at every level. You can ask for data from your friends telling you the anecdotal stories.
You know in your heart that the vaccinated are doing better staying alive and out of the hospital. You’re just having a hard time making that mental U-Turn.
