Can you send a link to data that shows vaccinated only .7% lower hospitalization? You’re claiming 49:51%? I call BS, but would be happy to admit I’m wrong if there is good data to support it.
Here is a more realistic statistic, based on my first google result: https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/health/unvaccinated-49-times-more-likely-to-be-hospitalized-for-covid-19-king-county-data-shows/
Or a more detailed analysis, showing similar vaccine success: https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/70/wr/mm7034e1.htm
I am not comparing vaccinated versus all covid cases like they did on this site. Because the data is from January until now, but we didn’t reach 50% vaccinated until this summer, the “unvaxxed” is heavily overepresented and skews the data.
So, I used actual case numbers, deaths and hospitalized for each group.
Vaccinated:
Cases - 40175
Hospitalizations of those cases - 1414 (3.52%)
Deaths - 277 (.6%)
Unvaccinated and under vaccinated
Cases - 702,951
Hospitalized- 29,655 (4.22%)
Deaths - 7558 (1%)
