The U.S. has hit 40 million reported coronavirus cases as the delta variant has devastated many areas, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.
There have been more than 648,000 deaths from the virus in the U.S., according to the data.
In the last month alone, there have been 4 million new cases recorded in the U.S., along with more than 32,000 new deaths. The seven-day average case count last week was as high as it's been since January.

That number is very close to zero.
I can find no record of any deaths. Given the hyper exaggerated attention and mis-reporting about this topic, I sure any deaths would be being hyped 24/7 by the fake news.

In which case all the jabs in the world are useless. There is no fix for Corvid. No matter how many jabs you get, you are still going to be at risk for a mutation.
At what point do we start the count again?
If we did this with the flu, we wouldn’t have a flu season each year — it would be an ongoing flu pandemic, with a perpetually rising total of cases and deaths.
We should be in the third year of Covid. The original started in 2019, and ended by Fall of 2020. Then we had the second year with Delta being the dominant (or new) strain. Now it looks like we’re entering the third year with the Mu strain.
This year-after-year accumulating total nonsense needs to stop, and it needs to be treated/counted like traditional flu and cold seasons.
We will achieve Covid herd immunity the same day we achieve the common cold immunity. That’s to say never.

40 million is the number of cases since the beginning of last year, not the current number of cases. Now we have vaccinated 150 million+ people and are still currently running with cases and deaths per day as high as they were last year before anyone was vaccinated. It’s like the vaccines haven’t accomplished anything.

You misunderstand the problem with PCR tests. The problem isn't false positives in the sense you didn't have COVID, the problem is that you still test positive for weeks or months after you had it. PCR tests are bad for determining whether you are contagious, but they are good for determining the total count of cases. If you had an asymptomatic or small COVID cases, it is still a case, and lucky for that person, now have immunity.
Lies, all lies. False-positive PCR tests are just racking up “cases” of the common cold and other harmless coronaviruses.
