One of the big reasons its hard to attract good conservatives to politics is they KNOW they will be targeted for termination by the Uniparty.
It’s not that I believed it. I reserved judgment. But I did think that the defense sounded bizarre and implausible. Turned out to be true

I remember too. There is always that group quick to believe the worst about someone even though we have seen this happen over and over and over for years. Attacking the reputation of conservatives with false accusations is right out of the dem (and communist) playbook. And even when they were shown to be innocent they *might* put a little correction somewhere buried in their publication, or ignore it all together.

Not only believed but joined in on the trashing!
There were a lot of FR members who were willing to hang Gaetz out to dry without any proof, or even a name of the accuser.
I was pretty ashamed of this attitude. There are too many people out their willing to accuse somebody and too many people willing to believe the accusation without thinking.
