Electric vehicles make no sense at all. They require tremendous natural resources to manufacture. They require large power use to charge from electric grids already at capacity. Their batteries are super expensive to replace and YOU WILL HAVE TO REPLACE THEM.

When the batteries catch fire, fire departments have a difficult time putting out the fires. In fact, people are being told NOT to put their EV’s in their garages because they can end up burning down the entire house, if not the neighborhood.

The batteries are VERY heavy. The new Ford F150 battery truck has a battery pack weighing 1,800 pounds.

There is no “standard battery” to fit all EV’s and probably never will be one.

Manufacturers will have to build thousands of extra batteries as replacements as the ones in use go bad. They do not have such inventories on hand now.

When your EV battery fails, you will have to wait for the dealer to receive a replacement AND wait for shop time for the dealer to replace it.

Replacing EV batteries will have to be done only by those with the massive lifting capability to remove and replace these enormous batteries.

You will be without your EV for quite some time while battery replacement is scheduled.

This country has been tinkering around with electric cars, wind and solar power for 40 years.

They are all cute inventions and technologies for lefties to point to and imagine that they will Save the Planet.

If any of them were going to ever be a thing, and actually power and move the country, it would have happened already. When Americans discover or invent something and its profitable and awesome, its a go.

Not happening.
