In the span of a week, the White House went from struggling to explain a rapidly deteriorating situation in Afghanistan to beating its chest.
Top Biden officials and administration allies have begun aggressively touting the success of their evacuation efforts in the war-torn country, offering frequent updates on the number of evacuees. They’ve framed the operation as historic —in line with the Berlin airlift — declared that they’re “over performing” their own metrics, and trumpeted the president as “defying expectations.”
It’s a startling 180 from the defensive crouch Biden and his team occupied just days ago...

One more thing. Local conservative talk host said in less than two weeks the American people, who didn’t really know where Afghanistan was or what its battles meant all along, will now totally forget all about it.
Biden can move on with a fresh, clean slate as the American people’s minds are blank again.

They still don’t know where Vietnam is either, but they know what a helicopter flying off the roof of an embassy is.
I posted yesterday this was coming. Biden will declare a successful evacuation when the last airplane departs Afghanistan airspace. The numbers were inflated to make it look impossible to get all the Americans out. We’ve been played. If anyone was not evacuated, we’ll never hear of them again...as of they never existed. Watch this coming Sunday’s media to tout the miracle in Kabul that Biden pulled off.

Afghan-Americans who took advantage of their connections with the Afghan government to get American passports. I doubt that any actual Americans are still there. We have evacuated everyone who was working at the embassy.
Now that the Biden mis-administration came up with their lying talking points, the media will loudly proclaim that the surrender was a glorious victory - America’s finest hour.
