I respect your opinion.

I am a big fan of kind and gentle dogs who are really good with children and people. It takes all the worry out of “what if he gets out?”.

I think that mix of dog needs to go through some filtering by the breeder to remove the wildness out and breed in the gentler side. How do you do that? You identify this when the pups are growing up. May take awhile, but in time you might get a great dog, IOWs, there might be some wonderful examples of this breed, living indoors, but I've never seen this. It's like these air heads, that will buy a dog, that has "wolf" in the genes. I have two grandkids. They have a Golden Doodle. They roll around, tackle, chase, the dog, and it plays with them. And you know how little 5 and 6 years old are with a dog, esp a puppy, I can't imagine them doing this with a part malamute, husky mix.
