in the beginning of the covid madness here truckers had problems too.. all the restaurants closed and went take out only.

I have it on good authority an 18 wheeler does NOT fit through a drive tru.

It is amazing what some morons will try to shoehorn through a drive through. Last year some idiot tried to snake a Suburban pulling a double axel featherlite trailer through a Chick Fil A near me. I really wanted breakfast there when I drove by but I could tell that was a cluster in the making and kept on moving.

Here in the Sierra’s, the small towns would make breakfasts, and give them to I-80 truckers for free, at the start of the pandemic, because they knew the truckers could not get hot food, when all the restaurants were forced to shut down.

So the residents took it upon themselves to go to truck rest areas and feed the drivers who had stopped to rest in the high mountains.

I remember one lady trucker breaking down into tears, when she got a hot meal...she said she’d been living on cold hot dogs through several states, because no truck stops had any hot food.

I hope the truckers can break the strangle hold the Aussie liberals have over the police!!!!

About a month ago, we saw a trucker walk up to a DQ drive thru window. They were more than happy to take his order.
