OMG! The pandemic is raging in California. Shut the state down. More mandates. I live in Santa Cruz County and mask mandates went into effect today. San Francisco and LA demand vaccine passports.

Let's look at the data:

Statewide data since day one:

Death date Reported date 64,503 total confirmed deaths 120 new deaths (0.2% increase) 0.1 deaths per 100K (7-day average)

So 0.1 person per 100K is reason to shut down the state?

Let's look at Santa Cruz County where I live:

Death date Reported date 209 total confirmed deaths 0 new deaths (0% increase) 0 deaths per 100K (7-day average)

So 0 deaths per 100K is reason to go into panic mode and institute a mask mandate?

Go figure

Ok…..Nephews friend comes down with COVID. Soon all four memebers of her family have it. Diagnosed at the doctors office. All 4 told to go home, drink pedialyte, take ibuprofen or Tylenol and call if symptoms worsen. Stay home and get back to normal when you feel better. 3 of the 4 barley any symptoms. One worse than the others but not debilitating.

So…….you go to a doctors office or clinic. Pop positive. And get sent home.

You go to the ER because you know it’s free and they can’t turn you away. Pop positive and you’re admitted, regardless of the severity because of the hospital sends you home and something bad happens; they know a lawsuit is dropping.

This hospitals are “full”. Is it possible that many of those beds have folks in them that have no reason to be there? As that they’re still able to kill the government for all that extra COVID money like they were last year?

Of course, this is serious for some. But the 99.7% rule still applies if I’m not mistaken.

“Hospitals in six rural California counties — all in remote, northern parts of the state — are now treating more COVID-19 patients than ever, breaking records by exceeding their winter surges.”

How does anyone know if this is even true?

I live in Tuolumne County in the Sierras. Our local hospital has 6 ICU beds and currently 21 Covid cases. We have the largest positive per-population case rate in the state. We had four deaths in one day alone last week.

I think about 50% of our population is vaccinated.

I’ve been vaccinated, but am pretty much staying home as much as possible.
