Joe Biden went on vacation to Camp David just before Afghanistan fell to the Taliban and gave no public remarks on the matter until more than 24 hours after the fall of Kabul. That was a speech Biden delivered from the White House Monday, after which he took no questions from the media.
He went silent again, then delivered another speech on Wednesday, this time on COVID. He took no media questions after the conclusion of this address. He sat for an interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos Wednesday. That interview has caused yet more problems. Biden’s performance in it has been seen as heartless and incoherent.
Fox News reports that Biden has effectively called a lid, this time indefinitely.

I had a similar experience with my Mom. One other aspect was the rapidity of her decline. From the moment we began to observe the initial signs to full blown debilitating dementia was about 18 months. Biden's decline is accelerating. I can even tell a difference between Biden now and Biden in the 2020 Dem primary debates. This will not end well.
Not sure, since it’s the VP that has to initiate the 25th Amendment provision to declare the President incapable of serving.

Biden suddenly snaps in anger. To me that was very telling. In his condition those kind of things are going to become more frequent and uncontrollable.

In my experience, there are 2 extremes with Alz/dementia .... my uncle, who was a nice guy anyway, became exceptionally “sweet”, very childlike. I have a friend whose wife was the angry type - accused him of trying to kill her, outbursts all the time, difficult for the staff to handle ... I’ve also seen this in the nursing home.
My guess is that Joe is a “bear” to deal with ... he’s the angry type. That’s likely why he’s reported to be sleeping 12 hours a day .... they’re drugging him so as not to deal with a very angry old man all the time. They jack him up for public appearances & drug him into a quiet state when not in public. It’s “elder abuse”, frankly; however, if his family cares about corrupt power more than old Joe, so be it. It’s the “DemonRat” way ... use people to your ends regardless of the consequences ... Benghazi, American hostages in Kabul (they ARE hostages in fact, just not acknowledged as such by our feckless government) & hundreds of thousands deaths in this country because the corrupt want the vaccine $$$ & have made it the only option other than those frontline docs who feel a moral responsibility to treat patients & keep them OUT of the COVID wards in the hospital where your chances of surviving aren’t all that great.
Kameltoe is inextricably tied to Joe’s Afghan Decision. If he goes, she will not be far behind. Its the Nan of Pelosi they are setting the stage for.

The sitting president nominates the incoming VP.
Congress approves (or doesn’t!) the nominee.
The 20th amendment basically determines that once a person is in the office of VP or Prez, they are qualified.
And did not return Boris Johnson’s multiple phone calls for 36 hours.
