This may sound conspiracy theorist, but what if this is all deliberate? We all know Biden is just doing what his puppet masters tell him to do. What if this is what they want? More endless wars. More chaos. Who stands to gain the most from these endless wars and chaos? Who is funding the Taliban? There is a method to madness here.

The Leftist oligarchy behind Joe Biden does not want or need a capable military force. An appalling defeat at the hands of the Taliban will certainly reduce the image of the US Military to a degree that they will be less of a potential threat to the Leftists.
What the Leftists need is an extensive national police force, controlled by their top leaders. Nancy Pelosi's expansion of the Capitol Police force to various State locations is a step in this direction. One of many.
This is a terrible setup that will require ruthless measures to get our people out alive. If our troops manage to succeed with this mission, you can bet they will be charged with "war crimes".
As to who is funding the Taliban? Pretty much every Muslim nation is doing that in one way or another. They are all happy to send their worst troublemakers far away and hope they don't return too soon. It is a losing bet of course. But supporting Jihad is a central pillar of Islamic faith and genuinely observant Muslims are obligated to contribute what they can.
I have observed that the younger Muslim generations are more observant and more fanatical than their parents, especially in Western countries.
I would not be too surprised to find that our own intelligence agencies are fund Muslim terrorists as well, oblivious to the blow back. The former director of the CIA was widely reported to be a Muslim convert. I believe those reports.
