Staying there, like staying in Germany and Japan, was a wise decision. We had a base of operation against Islamic terrorism.
Now, Al Qaeda or another terrorist group will reform with the Taliban's protection, launch terrorist attacks against this country or American interests abroad and we'll have to go back and wipe that terrorist group out. We'll lose a lot more lives when that happens than if we had stayed in Afghanistan.
Rinse. Wash. Repeat. It's the same pattern over and over again.

As long as biden/ harris are forced to resign and the record shows they were never legitimately elected then the country could still be saved. Pelosi would have zero power as president, far far less than she does as speaker and would have zero chance at reelection.
The planning for most terrorist attacks on US soil takes place in the middle east. And, now, we can bet on those attacks being planned from Afghanistan.

Broadcasting that 5,000 troops are being sent to Kabul lets the Taliban know they have about 24 hours or so to wrap up business easily.
