In the past six weeks, ICE has reported over 5,000 new coronavirus cases among detainees, according to an analysis of agency data. As of Friday, nearly 1,400 detainees were being monitored or isolated after testing positive for the virus.

Since the start of the pandemic, ICE has reported over 24,000 COVID-19 infections among immigrants in its custody, as well as 10 coronavirus-related deaths....

Why can they say no and go where they want, but we can’t?

How about the Republicans running NOW on a campaign position of “No vaccine, no stay”? Or, “If you don’t like vaccinations, how about deportations”?

Because they have nothing to lose. Govt has no bargaining power over them like they do with citizens who go to school and work for a living.

I’m not a big believer in the vaccine, but this administration seems to be. So you refuse, you go home. You want in you take the jab. Seems simple to me. It shouldn’t be an option. It wasn’t on Ells Island.

I think the governors of Florida, Texas, and other states that are having all these illegals dumped into their state ought to rent buses and ship them on to Washington DC or maybe New York City or even Portland OR. Be a heck of a lot cheaper than trying to take care of them or having them overwhelm hospitals or schools in their own states. Kind of poetic justice.
