Two St. Louis deputies were dismissed last month for working on progressive Rep. Cori Bush’s security detail without permission — days before the “Squad” member defended spending tens of thousands of campaign dollars on private protection while pushing to “defund the police.”
St. Louis Sheriff Vernon Betts told KMOV that he initially warned now-former deputies Tylance Jackson and Maurice Thompson to quit moonlighting as muscle for Bush (D-Mo.) and fill out the proper forms after they accompanied her on a tour of St. Louis jails in April. However, Betts said he was told by Veterans Affairs Police several weeks later that Jackson and Thompson were providing security for Bush again.
In addition to violating policy by not getting approval to work a secondary shift, neither Jackson nor Thompson have licenses to work private security, Betts told KMOV.
Jackson claimed Thursday that he and Thompson were dismissed because they “didn’t push the agenda of the sheriff on the client [Bush].”
“I do feel that the hand that was dealt to us was unfair and unjust,” Jackson told KMOV. “You let us go, but you still have a plethora of individuals doing that but you don’t say anything.”

One way to defund the police.
Any cop that would work for her deserves to get fired. Good Riddance.
And then, she threw those two Cops right under da Bus without blinking an eye!
Where does she get the money for private security?
Any agency that allows you to moonlight in uniform sets the rules. You don’t follow them, you get canned.
As an aside, I never understood the whole moonlighting in uniform thing. It seems to be more a southern habit.

Apparently they were warned but defied the Chief anyway. They defied the chief because Bush is a racist bitch and they wanted to have a chance to strut their black asses and feel ‘powerful’. I’m sure she’ll hire them just to defy the situation. Then they’ll pump their fists in the air in celebration and to show whitey their allegiance to a racist.
Well, it sounds like they were given fair warning. I don’t mind if cops take a second job but as the boss said “fill out the proper paperwork”. Otherwise it can have the appearance of graft. Which is not OK for cops but somehow politicians seem to get away with it.
Campaign funds, $75,000 for private security so far.
Assuming of course that she is not independently wealthy and that she cannot use direct campaign money; then I imagine she has an ally set-up a special PAC like the "prisoner victims federation" that takes unlimited donations, which then lobbies her for prison reform, and agrees to pay for her security to visit the horrid conditions of the local jails. Some scheme like that that evades the rule of law via loophole.
They should be. They should have their certification revoked permanently also. It should be in the category of associating with known criminals. But bitches such as her is who the American people want ruling over them today. We sank so low. So quick.
St. Louis deputies don't get paid a lot.
Perhaps that’s it. Southern law enforcement is paid quite a bit less than their northern brethren.

$200,000, I’d like an answer to that question too.
From her idiotic, deluded, and or corrupt campaign contributors.
She’s one of the reasons I still keep my Facebook account, I constantly torment her. “Where’s the white supremacy Cori? I can find it. It must exist, you keep mentioning it. Please help me Cori find the white supremacy”
I stopped reading at Tylance.
“As an aside, I never understood the whole moonlighting in uniform thing. It seems to be more a southern habit.”
Overtime and side jobs is how they make a living. I don’t have a problem with that except when I see them doing it in government issued vehicles.
She’s Instant Rich don’t you know
