It was easy to tell that she was one of “them” before her confirmation hearings. Red flags which, when taken one by one, wouldn’t seen very suspicious. But she had’em all.
The three names. Arms full of Whole Foods bags when she got out of her car after shopping. The virtue-signaling designer family. Every time I saw her my BS meter was triggered. “Phony.”
When she was nominated, reading these threads it was obvious that she was “the one” ONLY because she’s Catholic. How long will it take for people to realize that the younger Catholics do not have the same foundation or principles that the boomer and pre-boomer generations of Catholics had?
PDJT’s three people are the same generation of Catholics, and all are disappointments. It seems more like a social club than a religion now, and that wasn’t the case when most of us grew up. I wasn’t raised Catholic, but tons of my friends were, and they were devout in how to live a respectable life.
Anyhow ... Just my opinion.
I’m conservative and I sometimes shop at Whole Foods. Their food is pretty excellent. I also shop at Trader Joe’s and I have a Subaru. And I love to go wine tasting at wineries as a hobby.
There are other conservatives who wouldn’t be caught dead doing any of these things. But I’m not surprised a Supreme Court justice shops at Whole Foods (aka “Whole Paycheck”). She’s wealthy.
(I do draw the line at Ben & Jerry’s ice cream and the anti-male razors.)
