"SOS" for "Save our State," Prop 187 in 1994, was probably the tipping point. It passed but the courts shot it down so illegals were able to continue availing themselves of services and over burdening infrastructure and healthcare.

The nation is definitely where CA was then and the problem we have is where do we go if we've already left CA and that morass has metastasized to the nation?
