Praising Alex Trebeck has replaced having a book shelf full of classical literature that you never read. This entire publicity stunt has more people talking about Trebeck's replacement than all the talk about Howard Cossell's replacement, or Dandy Don Meridith.

There is another solution here. Take every episode Trebeck ever did and program into a computer with AI. Then use a Holographic Computer system and program and there you have it, Alex is back..

To me Buzzy is the most annoying contestant I’ve ever seen on the show. He was truly insufferable with his lame written comments in Final Jeopardy.

But surprisingly he made a decent guest host. Wouldn’t have picked him for the permanent host though and I’m glad they didn’t.

Those of us who saw him on "High Rollers" with fellow Canadian Ruta Lee (who was five years his senior) could not buy into the idea of him being some serious thinker or particularly bright guy. May he rest in peace.
