People who have recovered from COVID-19 retain broad and effective longer-term immunity to the disease, according to a new study.
Findings of the study, which is the most comprehensive of its kind so far, have implications for expanding understanding about human immune memory as well as future vaccine development for coronaviruses.
For the longitudinal study in Cell Reports Medicine, researchers looked at 254 patients with mostly mild to moderate symptoms of SARS-CoV-2 infection over a period of more than eight months (250 days) and found that their immune response to the virus remained durable and strong.

Today the CDC made a press release stating the complete opposite of this study without the research to back it up. The CDC is showing it is an affirmative action political organization for the left.

In the past year and a half, I have occasionally have had symptoms of COVID? Runny nose, cough, tiredness, fever, excuses to avoid get togethers with the in-laws? Yes to all of them. Did I have COVID? How the hell should I know? Vicks gets me through it. As it has since childhood.
One of my doctors tried to get me the shot despite having covid before, I had to explain to him the science. He did not disagree.

I call ‘bullsh*t’ on this claim. Nobody, and i mean *nobody* has yet been alive long enough to claim they have ‘long term immunity’ - how do you claim ‘long term immunity’ from. a disease that nobody has been recovered from for *at most* about 18 months - 18 months (max) is NOT ‘long term’.
This claim may or may not end up being true - but there is no proof, and no ‘long term immune’ people anywhere on the planet to make that claim.
