yeah, from what I have read the NovaVax is the better “in between” choice between the mRna and the J&J.

I would group J&J with the mRNA vaccines since these all “trick” your body into producing the virus proteins. It’s just that J&J uses an adenovirus rather than a lipid shell to deliver the instructions into the cell.
Novavax is more like a traditional vaccine in that you’re injecting virus proteins into your body rather than having your body produce them. It’s just that the proteins aren’t pieces of actual viruses but are cultivated from moth cells.
So I would put Novavax in between J&J/Moderna/Pfizer and traditional vaccines but probably closer to traditional.
Do you have a source or sources? This is the first I’ve really read about Novavax.
