Call it what you will, but you are the one who is looking for my children to pay your Social Security & Medicare benefits. I’m sure you believe the pittance you paid into the programs dozens of years ago was more than enough to pay your usage of these programs. It wasn’t. I pay them now & my children will pay them in the future.
I stated exactly what we should be doing. We should be doing everything possible to promote intact nuclear families. The nuclear family is the primary unit in a free society. A good start is a reasonable tax deduction or tax credit for children as they are the most important members of society.
The confiscatory tax policies & stupid open border/immigration policies have done immense damage to the family structure. That leads to societal strife & eventual collapse. For a Leftist that is great. It leads to communism or CCP style fascism. For a society dedicated to liberty it is not a good thing.
BTW I earn WAY too much money to get the tax credit. It stops after household income reaches a certain threshold.
That means I receive NO BENEFIT from the program.
However, based on your extensive amount of posting, I am paying a great deal out for your benefits as it is certain you lack full time employment & are likely drawing a pension, Social Security & Medicare benefits.
Both Social Security & Medicare are pay as you go programs. There is no lock box. Pensions are underwritten by increasing stock values & other negotiable instruments that require a growing stable economy. Something only a stable family structure provides over a long period of time.
