Ok, the numbers you present definitely put things in perspective. However, given the Population of Gibraltar is almost FULLY VACCINATED, one issue of interest is... how are they still getting infected?
Did the infections come from unvaccinated residents or visitors? Or did it come from the vaccinated population?
Also, how severe are these infections? Did they discover this because of continuous testing? Or did they discover this because scores of infected people developed symptoms?
Inquiring minds want to know.
The fact that those important facts/questions remain unaddressed by the various articles is a clue.
Another nothing-burger dressed up as rib-eye.
I just checked the Covid Worldometer for Gibralter. 0 deaths since March 13th.

As to how they are still getting infections; if you add the 1% unvaxxed to the 5% of poor vaccine uptake due to age or immunocompromising illness, you still have about 3500 people with little to no immunity.
And it is a tourist/vacay spot. Without really specific demographics on the infected, it’s hard to say what the cause is, but I can speculate that it might be similar to the outbreak in Provincetown during “Bear Week”.
