A new poll released Wednesday shows that 51% of likely voters in California would vote to remove incumbent Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) from office, while only 40% would vote to retain him, spelling trouble for the embattled liberal.
The poll, conducted by SurveyUSA for the San Diego Union-Tribune, KGTV 10News in San Diego and KABC-TV in Los Angeles, came one day after an Emerson College poll showed a dead heat on whether Newsom should be recalled.
The San Diego Union-Tribune reported:
51 percent of those asked indicated they would vote to remove Newsom from office.
Forty percent of respondents said they would vote no on the recall.
The findings come as Newsom is trying to convince voters that the recall drive is a product of right-wing Republicans and supporters of former President Donald Trump.

I can’t stand either Newsom or Cuomo... but I can’t help but think that their troubles are rooted in Obama’s reach for absolute power inside the Democrat party and by extension in these United States.
Obama took office in 2009 and in a real sense he has never left. He owns the DOJ and is almost certainly the voice inside Joe Biden’s earpiece.
The only way to win this civil war is to eliminate all of Obama’s minions inside the DOJ.. the rest should follow naturally.
Newsom is a distraction. I’ll be voting for Larry Elder however.
Winning this civil war involves retaking the House and Senate next year and impeaching Barack Obama, Susan Rice, Ron Klain, et al.
I don’t see any scenario where we can take 60 + 1 Senate seats. Retaking the House of Reps should avoid a shooting war at least. The ‘covid variants’ will surely be used as an excuse to expand mail-in voting... that is if we make it to 2022 without the proverbial ‘other shoe’ dropping.
Many of the EO’s that made no sense to repeal, those repeals only make sense when considering the main purpose was to erase Trump’s legacy, as payback from Obama.
I think Democrats keep the Senate. Our seats in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania are shaky.

It’s that attitude that cost us 2 senate seats in GA. Nothing on the plate between now and September. If Newsom gets recalled we don’t deserve any credit.

The anticipated fraud will reduce the outcome to about 40% in favor.

That’s not my post but I understand the sentiment... I also agree with you that we can’t defeat ourselves with this sort of extreme cynicism.

ABSOLUTELY. The idea of not voting because it’s rigged simply makes it that much EASIER for the Democrats to win, possibly without even needing to cheat.
I seriously wonder what side the “Don’t vote because it’s rigged” bunch is on...certainly not Trump’s side.
