Seems to me they would be taking a lot of shortcuts to reach this decision by Labor Day. Should this shortcut be investigated before approval? I wouldn’t feel comfortable with the outcome and the date being determined before all the research is done. It’s like posting the score of the Mets game on Sept. 1, before the players even take the field.

I doubt that. Not only do we have the data from the clinical trials, we have the data from over 160 million who have already received the vaccines. Anything significant would have surfaced by now. Now, how many more would die from the virus by delaying for another 10 years?
