Around 50 million Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine doses would arrive in Vietnam in the fourth quarter, the health minister says.
Nguyen Thanh Long said Mondy that more Covid-19 vaccine doses would arrive in the fourth quarter, including around 47-50 million of the Pfizer vaccine. He did not mention possible numbers for other vaccines apart from saying they would also be available.
Vietnam has so far received over 420,000 Pfizer doses. The Health Ministry has approved administration of the Pfizer vaccine as the second dose for those who have received the AstraZeneca vaccine as their first. The second Pfizer does will only be administered with the consent of the recipient.
A total of 17.6 million Covid-19 vaccine doses have been received to date from multiple manufacturers, including AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna, Sputnik V and Sinopharm.

I think Vietnam is the furthest thing, from a Chinese puppet.
Really,
I think of all the countries in all of southeast Asia, Vietnam is the vey least that way, of all.

Yes, really. Vietnam is already lost to the China. The puppet Viet+ government is completely under the CCP’s control, that's why they dare not to protest when China invaded their naval territory and attacked any Vietnamese fishing boats. They dare not to shut down the China-Vietnamese border during 2020 when covid was high in China, meanwhile North Korea & Russia and other Asia countries which have the border with China all shut down. If Viet+ government is not the puppet, why they try to oppress and put their own people who protest the China's aggressive attitude in the South China sea, in jail. At this point, many Asia countries including Cambodia and Laos are laughing at VietNam for their nonsense talking and no action when dealing with country's sovereignty. And don't tell me you are American who support President Trump and currently stayed in VietNam, you are just a Vietnamese communist troll sent in here to do more propaganda and begging for help and sympathy from American people. As long as Vietnam is still keeping the communist regime, then they are an enemy of the freedom world. As President Trump said at one point, VietNam is the worst county to deal with, worsen than China.

Wrong.
And I am an American Trump supporter. Enthusiastically so. Trump in fact motivated me to buy Trump materials during the election race, and my vote for him was one of 10,000 which won him the state of Michigan.
One of the very first, on this website in fact. #3 I believe.
Vietnam is strongly independent.
Proudly so.

Of course the America's liberal media is not better than the Vietnamese's media, but at least in this country we still have some good blog sites like Freerepublic for us to express our views. Tell me which media in VietNam allow people to freely express their opposite views. Just like this English article you put up here, this news is just intended for foreigners, meanwhile for newspapers or websites written in Vietnamese, you won't see any news to give the credit to USA and American people for helping Vietnam to fight Covid so far. Last month, Viet+ communist government through some Youtube channels also boasted that Vietnam will produce the Covid vaccine soon. Both Vietnamese and Chinese media is the same, same as North Korea and Cuba. the only thing the media in communist regime does good is lying up to their teeth with their dishonest propaganda!!

Well here is where, you are more starting to address Vietnamese political considerations.
I am not really Vietnamese. Live here now, and connected by marriage.
:)
I do know however that in the years I have lived here, I have encountered exactly TWO Vietnamese who were at all racist.
It is truly astonishing.
Two. And one I think may not have been 100% altogether, if you understand.
Vietnam is a special place. If you have some connection to Vietnam, maybe give it another look.
(After Covid, that is)

And I think Vietnam is maybe around one month, from the first domestically produced Covid vaccine.
Maybe. :)

And if you believed that Vietnam can produce the Covid vaccine within a month or even a year, then I do have a bridge to sell it to you.

Vietnam is full of many prople, who are not afraid to work hard. The population here is 100,000,000.
Lots of growth here. Except during the last month or so. Right now frankly ... well ... is very bad. Awful. I have not been outside for an entire month.
Give them a couple months to get their stuff back together though, then just watch.
Lots will happen here. Quickly.

Everything you say is the opposite because the CPV is still in power. Trong is as “independent” as Tito was of the USSR.

I won't have any disagreement with you on the VietNam country and Vietnamese people. Just like other countries, there are bad and good people, but I'm happily to see even the Vietnamese people mostly are poor but they are willing to share with the one who have less luck than them. This Covid locked down in many cities did prove that; however I don't have the same sentiments to apply to their communist leaders, a small group of clueless, illiterate, corrupted and greedy people, who come up to high positions in government just because they are long time communist party members. You said you have no comment to address Vietnamese political considerations, do you know you did sound like the Viet+ government. The Vietnamese people has been told that they should not talk anything about politic, that subject is belonged to the government only, just like the proverb they've been propaganda in Vietnam “People is the boss, and government is the servant”. The funny thing is after more than 80 years under Communist regime in the North, and over 45 years from the South, now the servants becomes the elite class who got most wealth; meanwhile the bosses are getting poorer and end up many of them who live and die in poverty. Good luck with your time in VietNam, and since you are there, try to see things under different lens, not everything is completely true from the communist's media.

I don’t know, frankly I don’t like to, and I don’t want to discuss Vietnamese politics.
There are real reasons for America and Vietnam to cooperate, and grow closer together.
I like the Vietnamese. They are very nice people. Really.

Of course you don’t want to discuss their politics.
There is no reason for the USA to cooperate with any more communist states. None. That includes Red China (which you still refuse to say versus “China”). And you still can’t let go of Nguyen Sinh Cung’s pseudonym.
The one thing I believe you on is the Vietnamese ordinary people being relatively nice.

I do not think we should be selling out to China.
HUGE mistake.
It is impossible to describe how profound, how complete that sell out is, in any way.
That is potentially world-ending stupidity.

False dilemma. And you still won’t say “Red China”; I’ll put that down to fear for your life and won’t bother you again over it.
