Around 50 million Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine doses would arrive in Vietnam in the fourth quarter, the health minister says.
Nguyen Thanh Long said Mondy that more Covid-19 vaccine doses would arrive in the fourth quarter, including around 47-50 million of the Pfizer vaccine. He did not mention possible numbers for other vaccines apart from saying they would also be available.
Vietnam has so far received over 420,000 Pfizer doses. The Health Ministry has approved administration of the Pfizer vaccine as the second dose for those who have received the AstraZeneca vaccine as their first. The second Pfizer does will only be administered with the consent of the recipient.
A total of 17.6 million Covid-19 vaccine doses have been received to date from multiple manufacturers, including AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna, Sputnik V and Sinopharm.

While vaccines are a political and ideological battleground here in the US, which has the very best medical system, resources, capacity, and infrastructure to deal with crises, others are not so fortunate.
Relax.
Vietnam is NOT the enemy.
In fact I really believe it is nearly the most important international friend, we have. At least in the region.
The war is so over. Stop fighting it. Please.
Are they communist? Then they’re the enemy. As such, they have not stopped fighting the war.
You’ll come to a sticky end defending them, comrade.
Is the US subsidizing communist Vietnam?
So you just spit or say FU to the almost 58000 son’s and daughter’s who gave their all over there huh, thank you for reminding me how people thought of us who lived through it and came home. You Sir or Mam are exactly why this Country is in the mess it’s in.
Well I have something I’d like to say to you but I won’t.
Nam 68 70 Proudly Served.
America is actively SUPPORTING the People’s Republic of China.
Everyone.
Democrats. Republicans. Movie stars. Universities.
Everyone in America.
China vastly outnumbers America.
Vietnam is not the issue, and will not be an issue.
Now go to (any store in America)
Any one.
Buy something.
Cha-ching. China.
OK, guessing that is a yes 😁
I say thank you (very much) for your service.
God Bless America.
Man someone has it in for the vietnamese. Gonna be a lot of dead ones the next few years.
That was debunked months ago. Hasn’t gotten more true under Biden (yet).
No difference between Red China and Red Vietnam save location. And which one you openly support. And you talk way too much about China without calling them Red China.
It appears Agent Orange didn’t work well enough for the Deep State.

It’s so great that if you get the wuhan coronavirus they tell you to do nothing until you are seriously sick.
So great that it leads the world in the rate of cancer among young people.
So great that people have to buy medicines designed for animals while they’re easily accesible in poor countries.
Huge difference.
China is the problem. Big, big problem.
I see you refuse to say “Red China” still.
No; not a huge difference.
See post 26.
You are more than free to go somewhere else for your medical care, or just not use the resources available to you.
Doesn’t change the fact that the vast majority of people in this world don’t have access to the even the most basic resources available in the US on a good day, let alone during a health crisis.
Again - feel free to roll the dice where you can get over the counter ivermectin (since you won’t do the math and eat the right number of dog pills you can get anywhere in the US) and leave the awful US medical system behind and enjoy the paradise of your choosing.
But you won’t. Because you know better. Because you have the resources available here and won’t leave them.
My original post was that other nations don’t.
Except that I think the vaccine is a curse not a blessing
And I think you have every right to think that. I disagree, but respect your decision regarding the vaccines.
That said, neither my or your opinion should be forced on anyone, and for those in nations with significantly inferior medical systems - they should be given the information and right to choose based on their risk / benefit considerations.
The US has the greatest medical resources ever (regardless of what some say). I believe we take that for granted, particularly around the COVID discussions.
Yes; that’s the first one in this thread where I noted you refused to use the phrase “Red China”.
Why are you pushing Obamacare?
