There will be no gold medal chance for the U.S. women’s soccer team at the Tokyo Olympics after they went down to Canada early Monday morning.
The 1-0 victory was the first by the Canadians against their U.S. neighbour since 2001.
A second-half penalty delivered for Canada as it upset the four-time Olympic women’s football champions in Kashima to reach the final for the first time.
Canada will now face the winner of the late semifinal in Yokohama between Sweden and Australia. The gold medal match is set for Friday at the Olympic Stadium in Tokyo.

They were so focused on their hateful agenda that they forgot the reason why they were there in the first place — to play soccer and win.

For me it’s more the scumbags who run the US Olympic teams, allowing all manner of anti-US hatred and vitriol amongst the athletes. Can’t support any of the scumbags.
I thought the men’s team didn’t qualify.
They call it team sports because they need be pulling in one direction. I don’t believe every one of the members believed the same as Ripinhole but any distraction to nearly evenly matched opponents more often than not will result in the unified team winning. I bet the O Canada team girls did not take a knee.

True, they didn’t qualify for the Olympics, it’s different for men to qualify since, I believe it’s the Under-21 that plays to qualify for the Olympics, and not the main Men’s Team that plays to qualify for the World Cup, basically they have to beat the Mexico U-21 Team to get into the Olympics, and that rarely happens. Mexico is actually in the Semis of the Olympic Men’s Tournament.

I saw a clip of some knuckleheads on one of the government/,media complex channels whining because Trump appeared to be rooting for them to lose, and that it “wasn’t very patriotic.”
But why would we root for them if the U.S. is a horrible racist/homophobic/misogynist/evil country?
