Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey’s (R) office says the state is “moving forward” following new guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) which recommends that individuals, regardless of vaccination status, wear face masks indoors in certain areas.

But the PEOPLE didn't vote for her to be Governor, only Lieutenant Governor. So she may not feel as beholden to the people that didn't put her into office.
Kinda like if Kamala Harris becomes President. No one wants her there, otherwise she would have done better in the primaries.

I had to look it up. I had a vague recollection that I had seen signs for her. But I was not sure. lol
