Exactly! I also remember a time when I’d turn on MTV only to find a comedy series like Beevis & Butthead, then turning on Comedy Central to see musical acts from old SNL reruns. So much for “branding”.
At least Beavis and Butthead showed music videos (some that Judge thought belonged on MTV and some that he thought typified the trash that MTV was showing). When they did home releases/syndication of B&B they cut all of the music videos out of it.
