Hydroxy is an “ionophore” ... it ‘opens the cell door’ to let zinc in. Zinc needs to be inside the cell to inhibit viral replication & it cannot get in on its own.
When Cuomo made getting hydroxy impossible (add more murders to his tally) & Dr. Z needed an ionophore for treating patients, he did research on his own, looking for over-the-counter solutions. One is Quercetin (must take Vit C with it for it to work) & also Epigallocatechin-gallate (EGCG).
