Republicans need a clearer message on this, IMO. Arrest the wrongdoers, judge everyone individually keeping in mind there were innocent protestors caught up in the rush, but don’t let Democrats turn the event into political theater over the misdeeds of a few. Congress makes laws and exercises oversight. This is a law enforcement issue and there are plenty of laws on the books to handle it.

Yes, but, search for "Jan 6 capitol damage" and look at the pictures. There's very, very little damage visible. There's a couple of broken mirrors, some sort of furniture overturned and possibly damaged. No damage to the statues that I can see. No damage to the paintings that I can see. No damage to the marble floors that I can see. I see no evidence that a fire was started.

Sure they should be arrested if they broke the law. Sure, they should be punished. But that really misses the point, which is exactly what happens, Tommy, when you dance to the Media’s narrative and accept their premises.
The issue is, are these people truly being punished for the crimes they ACTUALLY COMMITTED, or one’s that the media narrative wishes they had committed?

The tone of his comments and the shallowness of them reflects an intellectual laziness. It’s a cry from the backbench of the Senate. This guy has no interest in being a leader in these historic times. Disappointing.

Exactly. The Dems are relentless. They have their talking points coordinated and fight for every daily news cycle. The GOP specializes in hit and run operations. I’m sure Tuberville will strike the right notes during a hearing in the future. But that isn’t good enough.
