She was the most experienced gymnast on her team. As I understand it - for the others it was their first Olympics.
Her actions gave up a Gold medal for the other three - as well as her own.
She is a No Go at leadership and mentoring.
Not everybody is a good leader. You can never tell what happens when you put somebody in a leadership position until they are there. Some people crash and some people flourish.
I’m sorry if it will cost the US a few medals, but I’m not going to criticize her for it. I won’t
