Her home town in Seward had a watch party and went crazy as she same from behind and won...
At the medal ceremony her parents were on the screen, standing with hand over heart a tear or two coming down, that is a good story....not someone struggling mentally with being the best in the world....
Going forward, I want to pay attention to those athletes who want to be there and represent their country proudly.

The 2nd best women’s gymnastics is a Hmong Girl from St. Paul named Suni Lee. She has a great big fun personality and is more than proud to be on team USA. I wonder if she isn’t performing better than Ms. Biles, so Biels dropped out.
There is also a girl from Forest Lake, MN who had won the 4th spot on the gymnastics team. Biels is old and spent and she knows it. Move over baby, the young girls are making a move.
It was fun to watch Lydia's thrilled reaction to seeing her name in first place and then to see her high school friends jumping for joy.
And we took gold in men and women skeet shooting. No one kneeling there. The GB rugby 7s team took a knee and proceeded to get trounced.
