It’s really strange how this is being reported. I’ve heard some reports that claim it’s a “medical issue”, others that say “mental health issue”.

From an optics perspective, it seems Miss Biles isn’t doing herself any favors. Americans tend to not like it when they perceive a quitter or sore loser.

Well, some Americans. Democrats these days have built an entire voting base off quitters.

As for Biles, I'm inclined to think innocent until proven otherwise. She's a great athlete, and the US would have had zero chance at a gold without her on the team. She (along with a lot of other girls) was sexually abused by Larry Nasser, the USOC team physician - who knows what she's dealing with.
