Teachers must join them. An organization is inantimate. I think that puts the onus on the teacher. It is the teacher that is evel.

My Dad had me trained to immediately report any teacher who told the class not to share something with their parents. It was the surest way to ensure it would be shared.
Every parent needs to teach their children to do likewise.
