ATLANTA — An Atlanta restaurant is making the bold decision to serve only customers who are fully vaccinated. Argosy Restaurant and Bar, located in Little Five Points, is one of the first businesses in Georgia to mandate with signs that say “No Vax, No Service.”
The company owner made the decision earlier this week after he and several of his employees, who were all fully vaccinated, contracted the virus as breakthrough cases.
“I think it’s a bunch of crap,” said David Carpenter. “It’s everybody’s choice, that’s what I think.”
“I personally don’t have a problem with it because I’m fully vaccinated,” said Megan Mewbron.

Wow, these ‘breakthrough’ cases sure are rare, huh? If they weren’t so rare, one might get the impression that the majority of new infections are among the vaxxed. And we wouldn’t want you to think that...
The owner thinks that unvaccinated restaurant customers will give him and the vaccinated workers COVID. Can he prove this? He and those other people could have contracted COVID from VACCINATED people elsewhere. He has no idea how or where they got COVID, who transmitted it to them, or what the transmitters’ vaccination status is.
Policy being set by the employees? They move on when things go bad. What is the employer thinking?

This restaurant is probably already getting bailed out behind closed doors. These businesses in little 5 points were trying to limit traffic to as few as 10 people at a time in 2k sq ft spaces last fall. They all deserve to be out of business.
