I had years of false accusations. I was assaulted and the district attorney declined to charge the scumbag (because of all the false allegations) But, then, years later I ended up apprehending a scumbag who had broke into a woman’s home and tried to rape her. In the process of apprehending this POS we ended up in a struggle over a gun. I won. That’s the ONLY reason I’m alive today. The POS’s father was an attorney in an adjacent county. The district attorney made some deal They even talked the victim into silence. (I imagine, hell it’s not like they would tell me jack-squat! that the POS agreed to give up his drug dealers) A week or two later... I encountered the district attorney and made a comment about their lack of “give a crap” about my near death experience. The district attorney just looked at me at me and threatened to have my superiors fire me. I looked at her and said something to the extent I’ve already faced more than you can do to me witch(with a B) That was the day I began planning my exit from LE. My life didn’t mean squat to any of them.
